Fog's Bright Sunrise

Hello and Welcome Friend or Visitor,
I Find Sunrises or Sunsets Can Be Times When One Experiences Moments of Majestic Splendour.
The Variations In Colouring And Intensity Can Be Quite Breathtaking, While Other Times The Sun's Subtlety Can Be Sublime.
Either Way,
The Sun Can Give Farewells and Greetings That Will Linger In The Mind And As Often, Refreshes and Uplifts One's Soul....

May You Discover Something Meaningful For Your Self From These Moments I Have Been Granted By The Sun To Have And To Share...
The photos were achieved with my faithful phone Vivaz.... and to begin Fog's Bright Sunrise Journey I've begun four days before as an introduction. It was 5 July 2011... 6.43am... with Dawn emerging gently, quietly, softly...

The thing with all my photos of Clouds... Sunrises.... Sunsets... they all mostly occur from the same location whether East... North.... West... South or inbetween. I see the event occurring as I step out onto the back steps, while walking my Felicity (19.06.1996 - 22.08.2011) round the yard, tending to my Hens or Geese, bringing in dried washing or taking washing out to be washed, or simply sharing time outside.
In essence, what I'm writing, is these events are occurring each day as I move inside and outside of the dwelling I rent. Occasionally, Sky events happen when I'm elsewhere, but on the whole, the scenes are happening right where I am.

Four mornings later the following experience occurred....

It is 9 July 2011... the time begins at 7.10am.... the Winter Sun in Queensland Australia is already glowing higher in the Sky, but because of the Fog.... well... see for your self....

I've maybe focused a little further South for the above view... but in general I'm pretty much where I was for the previous Scene.

Next is one minute later... 7.11am

I've moved further left, and am on the other side of Trees in the previous two photos. The Fog still so dense I was able to focus right at the Sun's rich glow... so am at East's Winter Rising Compass Point. That will now be the furthest Sun's Easterly Rise will travel North.

Next is the same time of 7.11am...

I'd moved left again, and was on the other side of the Palm Tree seen on the left of the previous photo... looking slightly Southish, but of course towards East being more Northerly.

Another minute passes and it is 7.12am...

Looking towards North I am in the above photo. I have turned away from the Palm Tree that was on my right in the previous photo. I included the photos as a Journey, not so much because they are exceptional, but because the light of the Sun intensifying through the Fog as each minute passes I feel is quite beautiful, as is the effect on what is at ground level.

Next, the time is 7.14am....

And I've returned to where I had begun. Looking Southish again, the Sun's Light has grown, and I simply liked the silhouetted foliage with the misted Trees one can see beyond. The Foliage is from Guava with hints of Silky Oak Grevillea, the foreground are decorative Wild Growth.... the Trees, shrouded by mist, I'm not sure of who they might be... but they always interact with early morning Sun's Light and Mist as if they are donning new layers of beauty to display themselves with.

The last of this Fog's Journey with the Morning Sun's Light is a minute later... the time is 7.15am... the direction is towards the still misted Trees....

I smile when I look at the above photo... I found during my Filing I have repeated images of this particular direction. Each is the same, yet each is also different in the way the Sun's Light has created the feel of what one sees, depending on how cold or foggy, the time or amount of Cloud that is present, and of course the angle I've found inspired to record.
Over a five minute time span, the Sun's Light and Warmth has risen, gained in strength and evaporated sufficient moisture from the Fog to have created a difference between the first photo and the last photo of the same scene. There is more ground to see in the above photo due to the Sun's Glow having begun to illuminate it with a golden hue....

I thought I'd end this Journey with the Morning Sun by writing Farewell with the Sun's Setting Glow...
The photo takes us back to Summer's last month in Queensland Australia... February... also on the 9th but in February.... making the next photo five months earlier... a rather appropriate Farewell from the Sun and me I feel...

It's rather a bit of a Cloud Story, but oh gosh that is a magnificent effect from the Setting Sun, unseen, but happening to the left. The direction is straight outside my rental's back-door... looking North West, from the top of the stairs. If you look carefully, you might be able to make out the inclusion of the first stages of the Waxing Moon being present as well.

    1. Oh Susan, I did smile when I read your words 'peek of the moon'... that is the best Vivaz can do with the moon... but the peeks still add something to any photo Moon appears in. And gosh, your words are beautiful... you've added and extra depth to Fog's Story, thank you.

  2. Beautiful shots! Very peaceful.
I also love the way the sunlight illuminates the fog in the early morning. We don't get fog very often. Usually in spring. I know I have taken pictures of it a few times, but I think it's been a few years, and my pictures are probably on my hubby's extra hard drive someplace.

    1. Hello Cindy, always a boost seeing you here... do hope you find your Fog photos... but if not... I have a few other Foggy mornings to share, as Fog is very regular where I am throughout the year... can be bothersome when sometimes one needs to wait until late morning to get things done outside, or inside for that matter, because Fog's tendrils don't hesitate to come exploring inside to dampen all it checks out.
      Good wishes, thanks for Visiting.

    1. Hello Treasured Laura.. and your gorgeous Anole,

I too feel thrilled and honoured my phone is doing such amazing photos. I've been fortunate with each of my phones. A working friendship has emerged each time as we learn to respond together.

Oh shucks... you've mentioned moon too... Vivaz can feel proud with such wonderful words given for her efforts with the Moon... I'm simply thankful Moon is kind enough to ensure it appears in Vivaz's photos when present albeit tiny.

Fog is special... and just like you write is all the things it is.

Thanks Laura for also giving to this Foggy morning... Love you heaps my Friend, Magda xxxx
