With Madill Park Visiting Reader,
A Place I Like To Visit....
This is a second sharing of the same Park I did in my previous Post, except this time the photos record the Park 10 days later on the 30 Dec 2010. These photos helped me decide to go through with Posting the previous sharing. For this event, the rain had eased again but the day remained overcast, with only smidgens of sunshine finding its way through the grey sky.
On my return from town I stopped at the Park, and was a little more sequential with my photo doing. The glare prevented me from seeing Vivaz's view screen properly, but the results are pleasing, and follow on nicely with the Park's previous Story.
I had thought about creating the two sets of photos in one Posting seeing that both sets of photos give the same and or similar views. But no. Those photos and these each tell the Story in their own way. Allowing them the freedom to do so feels right.
The photos begin with the driving in part of the Park, at least the first part of driveway entrance, the remaining entrance is still inaccessible. I've begun with the same view which the Park's previous Post's photo shows. So now by continuing to travel the landscape from right to left the story continues.
There is a lake in the Park when it's not taking over like was at the time. In the last few photos, one can see the watermark on the trees, indicating the waters are beginning to recede, and will continue if the rain lets it.
New Year's Day 2011, the rain had another rest. In general, folk are awaiting the outcome of the flood waters travelling from the North that have already caused immense damage along its way South, and its eventual meeting up with the Mary's flood waters travelling North. The outcome very much depends on the rain easing off or continuing with its input.
In the interim, may you have a nice journey viewing a mildly flooded Park part 2....
Hopefully you have enjoyed the viewing, not minded the larger presentations, forgiven the discrepancies of photo quality... Vivaz I feel has done well.

Hi Laura K,
ReplyDeleteSimilar Posting, but Part 2. Both Postings prepared before my area became part of recent flood events in Queensland. The area further South came next, and yes, received the onslaught ferociously, suddenly, and tragically. My area became an Island for a few days, but loss and damage minimum I feel. I have personally fared well, and am thankful.
New Posting occurred shortly after your appreciated visit, Good wishes Laura K from M
