Tree Magic In A Park

Welcome.... This Journey I Offer Is With A Tree.... Mainly One Specific Tree.... From Different Viewing Angles....

The wonderful Tree you will encounter is one of the 'She-Oak' Family or Casuarina. Native to Australasia, Southeast Asia and Islands of the Western Pacific Ocean.

Before I continue towards introducing you to a Tree I consider as rather amazing... I very much firstly am apologising for all the Visits I have failed in achieving to all the captivating, interesting, intriguing or inviting Posts I have seen emerge in my Dashboard Reader from those I'm glad I Follow. Though I have given sporadic Visits and Input, I have not been regular. My slackness was not due to any disrespect, just personal unstable wellness.
I have successfully recovered from not having been well since mid-May... Winter Flu type stuff I have issues with in being Asthmatic.
The for some years now repeating event, has this year it seems, been resolved in such a way as to be the preventative to apply before the time approaches when next year's Winter is on its way.
Relief plus... I was daily convincing my body that air is a good thing to take in, while it was making firm efforts to reject the concept. The daily ritual discussion truly became tiring. Actually, exhausting, is a better word.
As you can see though, I am writing this, did achieve other Posts and sporadic Visits with Inputs... therefore my body decided my view had merits, and we managed daily to continue breathing in strained unison.... Today, me and my body are breathing together in harmony. The medication has finally worked.
Took the medication nearly a month for full effect to become apparent. What I had felt, up until a few days ago, seems almost to have been something that hadn't been happening, due to my body now indicating it has fully forgotten about the concept it had of not breathing. Doing a denial thing I presume. I'll choose to remember, but I am glad to be as I am now. Certainly a better way to function.
One set-back, with breathing not being an issue, is how grubbily messy is the condition of our surroundings... I really need to make a concerted effort to re-manage everything I am doing with a finesse I must achieve and maintain.
Now that I have written that focused comment in this manner....  may my mind absorb and heed the words, so we work together, and see the happening happen and be a continually successful occurrence. Bit of a shock realising how far behind I became in so short a time.
As I progress, I will also return to regular Visits of the Blogs I do enjoy having discovered to Follow. My thanks to you.

Now to what this Post is about... a rather unusual interesting Tree....
I'll do the first photo and bring in the Story as others appear....

To me, that is a rather amazing Tree. The Tree Lives amid the Park I had done two Postings about when it was having its toes dipped, in early stage flood waters during December 2010.
Then I included photos of the Park, when the real Flood Waters arrived in my area, and all one could see for some days of the Park during January 2011 were mainly the tops of the Trees.
Recently I included a photo of The Tree in the Posting I did for my Doberman Felicity's 15th Birthday. (Being A Family Inspires: For Felicity's 15th Birthday"... 30 June 2011). She was in front of The Tree... hence the inspiration to seek through my Files for photos I knew I had of the Park and its wonderful moments to experience.

The following photo is of the Flowers on the Shrub, on the right behind The Tree in the above photo....

The Flowers are named "Rose of Sharon". They are of the Hibiscus Family. I had a most fascinating time researching the Rose of Sharon. Am very pleased I have a collection of photos showing those Flowers, I can do another Posting, just for them and their associated Story I discovered. A treat for me to do when I do.

I recently visited the Park to see how the "Rose of Sharon" Shrubs have fared after January's 2011 Floods. I am glad I have the photos I have, with the one I have included here for you to see.
The Rose of Sharon photo I included above, done with my then "Viewty" phone, occurred in April 2009.... it was sad to see, now in 2011, the Shrub behind The Tree, in a state of looking wrecked. As I looked around for others of the Rose of Sharon Shrubs, I saw that all were not healthy looking at all. I do hope they recover.

          Returning to The Tree....
During my recent Park visit, I also wanted to know how The Tree had fared before I did this Posting, because the photos I have here of The Tree, were also done in 2009 by Viewty, but during May instead of April. I am thoroughly pleased to write in 2011, The Tree is still as magnificent as you see here....

When I went looking for the photos I had done of the Park during 2009, I discovered I was quite taken with the lean The Tree flourished with being on. I saw I had a collection, from different views of The Tree, showing its astonishing angle and definite survival capacity in being that way.

So I suppose sharing with you my own intrigued state for this Tree is a logical outcome, and in a way, a celebrating of its continuation even after adversity....

The angle The Tree thrives on is truly astonishing... even more so after seeing it being still as amazing after having been covered by January's 2011 Flood Waters.
To me, The Tree symbolises the Power of Determination. I see this Tree's Determination as the keeping true to its own integrity, retaining its own identity, while simultaneously giving of its self in a unique manner. Worth thinking about I feel.
Can you see how The Tree has twisted its Trunk to achieve its angle? I believe the way The Tree has twisted its self, close to its base and connection with Land, has strengthened its ability to be as it is. Certainly has Stories to tell other Trees with being on that angle.

From the angle in the photo above, you can see the effort The Tree put into ensuring it would remain stable as it grew in the direction, it successfully is still doing. The Surface Roots, look to me, like fingers digging deep, holding tenaciously and even quite comfortable in feeling their successful contribution.
I think The Land shows strain in assisting The Tree keep achieving its angle, but I also feel The Land supports The Tree's effort, because regardless of The Land being water-saturated during January 2011, The Tree is still comfortably sustaining its angle decision.
A beautifully rich relationship between The Tree and The Land it grows from. Together they are sustained and nourished by the Stream's natural flow, which sometimes quietly waits for rain to again regain its slow steady movement.

There's been a lot of changes for The Tree over its many years, quite visible from the view seen above. Many branches have not managed to retain their connection with The Tree, but that is okay. While retaining its angled self, The Tree also managed to grow a more upright version of its self, therefore providing better anchorage for Branches to create a leafy canopy from.

Well this is a nice outcome... you can see The Tree's Canopy! When I write it just happens, even when what I write is from research. I feel honoured discovering the way my words for the previous photo of The Tree leads so well to the photo above. Subconscious input is also probably happening. My mind subtly remembering the order we chose to present the photos before reaching here. Which is also a Path of letting the feelings being exchanged between me, the idea and the images be the guide for placement. The whole outcome always a surprise for me.

And that is the last of the Series of Photos about The Tree being wonderful. I'm smiling seeing the photo also is one further back and introduces another Tree of the Park. The angled Tree is the only one doing the interesting lean. I do have other photos of other Trees Living amid the Park's surroundings, but that will be in another Posting.

To close this Journey with The Tree, I have two more photos to include, showing some other aspects of the Park I will put together for future Postings....

I love Rocks, Water and Trees. I don't mind what part of a Tree I see... all aspects of a Tree is a magically beautiful experience. The above photo is a combination of each.
By looking at the previous photo with The Tree, then turning one's back to the Scene and walking further into the Park, one would reach the Stream where I encountered the Imagery shown in the photo above. I did not go there to see what has become of the area since January's 2011 Flooding, but I will. The Scene is in essence a transient one, though the strength of the Tree's input would still be present I am sure.
It is wonderful to know the air we breathe-in is also a gift from Trees while the air we breathe-out helps to sustain Trees. Rather indicates how important what we each put in to our own Body is for the well being of Life around us as well as for our self.

That is one of my favourite photos I have of the Park's Environment. Was done during April 2009 with Viewty.
I have enjoyed putting this Journey together. I feel I have aptly worded "Being a Family Inspires..." as a Label for me with my Family of Critters. Doing Felicity's Birthday Post with the inclusion of The Tree photo had me remember I have other photos of The Tree. The exploration through photos Viewty gave me was thoroughly inspiring. I also achieved more photo Filing. Slowly getting it all done. Seeing Viewty's photos here, is humbling. I feel for a mobile phone, Viewty's achievement with Landscape type images is admirable.
Sadly, Viewty had begun throwing reds and blues in photos. You can see the effect in the Rose of Sharon photo, on the outer petals of the whitish Flower. I read the happening represents what is termed as 'Noise'. The Noise became worse. But golly gosh... the amount of photos and the amount of work Viewty gave is irreplaceable. I am forever thankful. Plus, I have wonderful images to share with you courtesy a very giving phone, created by quite clever folk out there in Lg Land.

Thank you for Visiting, for giving of your Time to share of this Journey with me. My appreciation is always present.
