Welcome To A Journey
To introduce you to two Members Of My Family....
Nicholas and Henry - My Rather Handsome Ganders -
Even if I'm the only one who thinks they are....
This is sad to include...
Both Henry and Nicholas have passed.
Henry in October 2011, he was about 14 at the time.
Nicholas in January 2012, he was 18, elderly and beautiful.
My love for them continues. I miss them.
This may seem an unusual subject, but the doing I felt suggested by my Geese to do. I was having difficulty finding a way to create a Posting that would work as a Transitional Path from the need to maintain thoughts for Japan, Christchurch New Zealand, North Queensland Australia... and where ever else supportive thoughts need to go with all the changes happening about this amazing Planet before doing a Posting for St Patrick's Day.
Hence the Introductory Image to begin this Posting.... it holds the necessary energy to keep sending every good thought one could possibly think out into the Universe for support and assistance to reach all needing it.
My Geese's suggestion of utilising them as the Intermediary Path between Tragedy and Festive encouraged me. I appreciated they wanted to also contribute to the Good Energy that needs to be flowing at this time....
Family is important, and in its way for this Sharing a neutral zone to build from. Then, as I prepared the material for this doing, I began to see the significance of their colouring.....
They are white... a colour from which all colours emerge. A colour of purity, innocence, and spiritualness. One Gander, Nicholas, has an orange toned beak and legs, a colour of courage and empowerment.
The other Gander, Henry, has a rather pinky toned beak and legs. Pale Pinks are a gentle colour, a colour often associated with unconditional love.
Then there are their eyes.... a beautiful rich cobalt/azure blue. Blue tones are healing, soothing, calming.
In essence, my beautiful Ganders... Nicholas and Henry, have offered themselves as way to continue transmitting one's thoughts with the needed good energy....
As you see photos of them your thoughts can also think of the Spirit of Courage, Filling With Love, Radiating a Continuous Flow Of Soothing Healing Support To This Beautiful Planet and All Its Inhabitants So Very Much In Need As They Each Cope With The Continual Changes Happening.
The first photo is of them in 2008, done with my then 'Blacky' VGA Lg phone.... so please forgive the rather odd visual rendition by Blacky... but I like the photo, so hopefully you will cope....
Nicholas is behind Henry in the foreground. Nicholas is about 15yrs in this photo, and Henry is about 11.
Photo from Blacky, August 2008.
I love this next one of Henry....
Would so much like to present that one in extra-large mode, but really does become kinda splatchy looking. Splatchy just fell out my mind and through my fingers. Feels right as an effect description, regardless if not a real word... words start somewhere... may not be a word that will catch on... but that's okay. Henry is about 11yrs in this photo.
Photo from Blacky October 2008.
And this one of Nicholas is I feel rather exquisite....
And with that photo being from my then 5megapixel Lg Viewty, I have the privilege of presenting this one in extra-large mode. Nicholas is about 16yrs in this photo.
Photo from Viewty, February 2009.
I like that photo.... two Ganders off for a walk amid the landscape. They seem so tiny when surrounded by Nature's Greenery. Henry is in the foreground with Nicholas leading the way. In that photo Henry is about 12yrs and Nicholas is about 16yrs.
Photo from Viewty, February 2009.
This next photo is not crisp, but gosh I think it is a lovely one of them both...
It was very early in the morning when they let me do this photo, so I had minimum light... seeing it here, I think I like it even more. I really am very privileged living my life with them.
Photo from Viewty, May 2009.
This next photo is blurred... they moved... but...
there is a lovely feel to that photo... I was laying on the grass, it was Twilight, and I find looking at this photo is a picturesque feeling, even the movement feels to add to the mood. Henry (about 12yrs) is infront of Nicholas (about 16yrs).
Photo from Viewty, February 2009.
The following photo is from a Viewty setting named Embossed....
I found the setting to give interestingly artistic results. Nicholas (about 16yrs) is on the left, and Henry (about 12yrs) is on the right. They are sort of in the centre of the photo as blue toned.
Photo from Viewty, March 2009.
Where we rent we don't have a dam, but they do love their Clam Pools...
Nicholas (about 16yrs) is observing, while Henry (about 12yrs) in the background, is checking on something he's found. I always feel rather awed seeing the water droplets Viewty secured in this photo.
Photo from Viewty, August 2009.
This final photo for this sharing is peaceful....
This photo of Nicholas (about 16yrs) left, and Henry (about 12yrs) right, for me always imparts sensitivity. The Sunlight filtering through the Greenery, the depth of shadowing, their whiteness and resting state... the whole effect I find meditatively soothing. I use this one of them as one of my Desktop Viewings.

Now you have met and journeyed with my handsome wonderful Ganders. We, as you can assess from their ages, have shared many Stories with being together. It has been a pleasure introducing them to you. And they were quite right in suggesting themselves. I feel a lot better now about going ahead with a St Patrick's Day Posting. I thank them immensely for helping me yet again.
Introductory Image is from -
The Photos are my own.
With heaps of appreciation to you, from Magda
PS: Friday, 18 March 2011
My heart wasn't in the Post for St Patrick's Day, events occurred which dampened the forward momentum my Ganders had helped me achieve....
A young, gentle lady working in the Gympie area where I live in Queensland Australia is returning to Japan this weekend. Her Parents are in Tokyo. They are fine, but she feels returning is important for her and her Parents during this critical time for them and Japan.
A young man working at the same place, mentioned as we spoke, that his Brother's Friend, or other way round (apologies, my mind is still a bit dazed... is one of the crew in Japan doing everything possible to stop the Fukushima Nuclear Plant from a Meltdown.
Learning of those items amid a few others jarred me. Doing a St Patrick's Day went into the background of my thoughts and feelings for now. Sorry.

wow!! what beauties Nicholas and Henry are!! they are lucky to have such a loving MOM!! :] i never realized that geese lived such a long life...must be all the L O V E!

So pleased you like my wonderfully beautiful handsome Ganders LauraK.
I'm not sure of a Goose's lifespan, but sure am glad they're still doing well and strong.
I do Love them... and yes the efforts I make, and the work I put in for them is with Love for them... and if that's making living worthwhile for them... then may I never stop.
Thank you for being the good Friend you are....
Heaps of good wishes to you, with appreciation from Magda.
PS: I showed my Boys your Words with their Posting...
Their interest and response quite positive...
