The following Video was sent to me from a Forever Friend, who'd received it from her Cousin. Unfortunately where in Queensland the video was done is unknown as had been sent to my Friend's Cousin, as well as to many other folk without details. What is known is it is relevant to Queensland's recent floodings.
I've included it on my Spot as part of my Flood Summary because where in Queensland it was recorded seems less important than the content. As the title implies is what you will see when floods become severe and mass volumes of water go where they have to, regardless what may be in their path.....
The resolution may not be fine enough for a full screen viewing, though in essence what one sees in the small viewing is sufficient impact I feel. Have tried to work out what appears near the end... have decided a ruined metal water-tank had been carried to the area being videoed. After conferring, has been agreed is most likely what it is. Didn't last too long in that area either.
The Power of Water... cannot even begin to imagine the emotional impact for those in areas that received the full brunt of these floods.
We need feel thanks to those being somewhere at a crucial moment and having the presence of mind to film or photo such events.... for being willing to share what they've Documented.... for Modern Technology developing Tools Everyday Folk can easily achieve such things as this Video.
Whether for better or worse, we do learn from the experience. I for one am very thankful. The information shows clearly why one needs to Stay Out Of Flood Waters.
I feel I can write no more on this... maybe I've written too much as it is...

Until soon or sooner,
Appreciate you visiting,

With doing a tidy-up of my Posts and Blog in general in 2014, I've changed the title of this Post.
It was originally part of a 4 part Posting telling the Story of that Flood time in South East Queensland during 2011
The url link still holds to the original title, but I've changed my labels and the Flood Stories as a series are now separated into the label - Gympie, or with Other Places and Topics.
